SS Jose Reyes was scheduled to arrive in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Tuesday night and planned to test his balky right hamstring tendon by running in the coming days. Reyes is projected to return right after the All-Star break. |

Reyes (strained right hamstring) is heading to Florida with the hopes that he will be ready to play rehab games shortly, the NY Newsday reports. Recommendation: The first test will be for Reyes to try and run full speed and stop-and-start running to test the hamstring. If that goes well, he will likely be cleared for games shortly thereafter. Assuming that goes well, which as we have seen already with Reyes is a big assumption, he may ready around the All-Star Break. |
