Player Notes
Indians prospect Francisco Lindor finished Sunday's doubleheader with four hits for Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: Lindor has raised his average from .191 to .302 during his four-game hitting streak. The 21-year-old has always been a defensive wizard but it's taken a while for his bat to catch up. Lindor's long-awaited big league debut could be coming shortly, especially if he continues to feast on Triple-A pitching.

Indians prospect SS Francisco Lindor enjoyed his best game of the season Thursday, going 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, three RBI and a stolen base for Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: Lindor, 21, has gotten off to a rough start back in the International League, batting just .212/.293/.365 through 14 games, but he’s begun to heat up as of late with an .845 OPS and four extra-base hits in the last six games. The Indians don’t appear to be in a hurry to promote the defensively gifted Lindor, though it’d be surprising if he weren’t the Tribe’s starting shortstop by the end of June.

Indians top prospect Francisco Lindor blasted his first homer Saturday for Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: It was a solo shot to left field. Lindor hasn't shown us much with the bat, hitting only .212 in his first 33 at-bats. Power is never going to be his strong suit but if Lindor can get that average up, he should get called up to the big leagues.
