Player Notes
Adrian Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Giants.

Advice: Gonzalez lofted a sacrifice fly in the third inning, then came back with a shallow two-run single in the fifth. With the three RBI, he padded his tally to 73 for the season as a whole. The veteran first baseman has also cracked 15 home runs while slashing .301/.369/.458.

Adrian Gonzalez had a monster day in Monday’s 18-9 pounding of the Reds, going 3-for-6 with three homers and a career-high eight RBI.

Advice: Gonzalez connected for a three-run shot off Homer Bailey in the first inning before adding a solo blast in a six-run fifth and a two-run shot in the seventh. He had a chance for a fourth homer in the eighth, but grounded out to second base. On the bright side, he drove in his eighth run of the day on the play. This is the second three-homer game of Gonzalez’s career. He has now hit safely in 15 consecutive games and is batting .299/.369/.458 with 15 homers and 70 RBI overall.

Mon, Aug 22 Rotoworld
Adrian Gonzalez drilled a three-run bomb in the fourth inning and a two-run tater in the seventh to lead the Dodgers over the Phillies 7-2 on Wednesday.

Advice: Gonzalez has come to life lately to perk up a sluggish season. The powerful game raised his line to .298/.371/.438 with 12 homers, 62 RBI and 53 runs scored in 115 games. The batting average and on-base percentage look good but the power stats are well below what we are used to getting from the veteran slugger.
