Player Notes
Mark Teixeira had a monster night Friday against the Rangers, going 3-for-6 with two home runs, six RBI, and two walks.

Advice: Batting right-handed, Teixeira took Carlos Rodon deep for a grand slam in the second inning before connecting for a two-run shot against Matt Albers from the left side in the fourth. It was the 14th time in his career that he homered from both sides of the plate in the same game, setting a new major league record. The veteran slugger has back-to-back multi-homer games and is now batting .269/.375/.585 with 28 home runs and 73 RBI on the year. It's been a remarkable resurgence.

Mark Teixeira went 3-for-4 with a pair of homers and a steal versus the Rangers on Thursday.

Advice: Teixeira is even hitting for average lately, coming in at .313 in 83 at-bats during July. What's odd about it is that he's striking out more than he did while his average was so low early on. But his BABIP was definitely due for the correction.

Thu, Jul 30 Rotoworld
Mark Teixeira went 3-for-4 with a rare stolen base Friday against the Twins.

Advice: All three hits were singles. Teixeira has five multi-hit games in his last six and has pulled his batting average up from .239 to .260 on the year. With 26 home runs, 65 RBI, and a .918 OPS, he continues to have a tremendous bounceback season.
