Jul 4 RHP Kyle Lohse, who appeared in Springfield, Mo., on Thursday night to pitch for that Class AA affiliate, is scheduled to continue his rehabilitation from a strained right forearm flexor on next Tuesday night at Class AAA Memphis. And that should be his last rehabilitation start, said pitching coach Dave Duncan, who is hoping Lohse can start one game of a first-half-ending doubleheader in Chicago next Sunday. "The way it shakes out, I'm only going to get one start more before the (All-Star) break, so I might as well take advantage of another tune-up," Lohse said. Yahoo! Sports


Jul 3 Lohse threw 79 pitches in 4.2 innings in a rehab start for Double-A Springfield Thursday.

Recommendation: Lohse walked four and tired a bit by the end, but it was his first game experience in a month. If all goes well with his side session Saturday, he could return on July 12.
