Castro filed for free agency Thursday, the White Sox' official site reports. Recommendation: It is unclear to this point if the Sox will offer him a contract. He was fairly underwhelming after the Mets traded him to the White Sox, hitting .184/.262/.382 in 31 games. If they do bring him back, he would just be keeping the seat warm for Tyler Flowers. |
