Hairston (hamstring) began a two-game minor league rehab assignment on Wednesday and is expected to rejoin the team at home on Friday, the Dodgers' official site reports.
Recommendation: Hairston should return to regular playing time given all the injuries the Dodgers have experienced. He could see time at second, third, and left field.
