Hideki Matsui scratched from lineup (marriage)
Sorry for the slight delay in posting this morning. I had to sneak away to Manhatttan real quick and get hitched before returning to work. Don’t worry, I have now returned and am happily married.
Oh wait, that was Hideki Matsui …
From the LoHud Yankees Blog:
Hideki Matsui put out a press release saying he was married (Wednesday) in New York City. That explains why he wasn’t in Clearwater … He’s having a press conference in a few minutes.
I'm pretty sure that's the first in-season wedding involving a ballplayer that didn't take place in Vegas.
And no, that's not a photo of the bridal party.
(By the way, the Stew just had to shake some tech sleep from its eyes. Should be back and good to go, though.)
