Maybe it was just anticipation. Maybe it was just eagerness. Maybe it was just the luxurious hair.
No matter what it was, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu really wanted to block Baltimore’s extra point attempt in the fourth quarter.
There was only problem.
Baltimore did not snap the ball.
Polamalu leaped over Baltimore’s snapper with 1:58 remaining during his attempt to block the extra point during a 19-16 loss against the Steelers on Sunday. The only problem is he was the player who moved, and as a result, Polamalu was penalized for jumping offsides. Baltimore converted the extra point on the next play.
However, it was still a great effort by Polamalu, even if he moved too early.
