Sam Bradford goes down with injury as Panthers safety Mike Mitchell celebrates

The Panthers-Rams game was already pretty chippy, with some punches thrown, and that was before the Panthers took out Rams quarterback Sam Bradford and celebrated as he was on the ground.

Bradford was scrambling and started going out of bounds. He was dragged down from behind by Panthers safety Mike Mitchell. Bradford immediately tossed the ball down and writhed in pain on the sideline. And while Bradford was doing that, Mitchell triumphantly raised his arms in celebration.

Rams guard Harvey Dahl, who seemed to be involved in most of the scrums as tempers flared, came over and shoved Mitchell and got in his face. Mitchell got no penalty on the play, and Dahl was given a 15-yard personal foul.

Bradford was carted off with a leg injury and looked to be in a lot of pain. He joined Chicago's Jay Cutler and Philadelphia's Nick Foles as quarterbacks who were knocked out of Sunday's games with injuries.
