But sometimes we write about them. Especially when a certain out-of-work quarterback and an 0-2 team are involved.
Hear us out a moment: Tebow. Jaguars. You know you want it.

At least some of you do. A fierce enclave of Jacksonville Jaguars enthusiasts have set out, in highly symbolic fashion, to evoke this natural pairing by holding a rally on Monday outside EverBank Field in Tim Tebow's honor.
At 3:16 p.m., naturally. And the rally will last three hours, 16 minutes. But of course.
We'll save you from the all-caps madness of the sight, but you need not look further than the headline of the page:
JAGS-TEBOW WHY NOT ?
TAKE ACTION NOW. JOIN US! OUR MISSION: MAKE IT CLEAR, WE THE FANS, WANT THE JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS TO BRING IN TIM TEBOW. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO SEE THIS HAPPEN.
But consider them simpletons at your own peril. These folks are even paraphrasing Bob Dylan, after all:
“When you have nothing, you have nothing to lose.”
It's true. And this organization even has a cell phone that fans can call or text. No word yet if they've filed for their non-profit status, or not.
With the Jaguars quickly approaching first-pick-of-the-2014-draft discussion following their 19-9 Week 2 loss to the Raiders, it's begs the question: Should the team entertain signing Tebow? We'll leave that up to Shutdown Corner resident Tebow-Jaguars expert Frank Schwab, who ventured fearlessly into that turf last week.
But as the Jags fan site offers: "Why not?"
