Watch the Dolphins mascot sadly celebrate as Miami’s game-tying field goal attempt sails wide left

Ever wonder how hard it is to see out of a mascot costume? The Dolphin (T.D. for short) gave us a pretty good idea on Sunday as he celebrated Caleb Sturgis' game-tying 57-yard field goal attempt sailing wide left in a 26-23 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. It's actually kind of sadly hilarious to watch T.D. as he signals a success with his flippers then droops after the officials fail to confirm what he thought he saw.

Thing is, T.D. may have been led astray by another mistaken mammal. Check out what a Dolphins beat writer tweeted from the scene. It's possible T.D. was reacting not to the ball, but to what he heard coming out of the stadium's sound system ...

Yes, Fins fans, the eyes can often see what the heart wants to believe. But just because you thought you were headed to OT, doesn't make it so. Miami has now lost two straight after starting the season with three straight wins.
