    There had been chatter that the reason Brett Favre's jersey retirement has yet to happen with the Green Bay Packers is that there was a fear Favre might be booed.

    Favre took to the radio to say that he's not scared of that at all.

    Favre spoke with ESPN 1000 in Chicago and said those fears just are not true, despite his friend and former teammate Mark Chmura going on ESPNWisconsin.com and saying he thought the reason why Favre backed out of a planed event at Lambeau Field. 

    "I've heard that was a concern of mine, and I'm here to tell you I'm not," Favre said Monday. "I'm not worried about that. I'm well aware that you can't please everyone. Not everyone's going to like you regardless, and you know what, so be it. But I think the 16 years that I had in Green Bay speaks for itself.
