    The Tampa Bay Lightning got off to a three-goal lead in the first period and rode their hot start to a 3-2 win Monday night over the Dallas Stars in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final in Edmonton. Brayden Point and Ondrej Palat scored back-to-back on the power play for the Lightning, about two minutes apart midway through the first period – ending an 0-for-15 skid with the extra man. Defenceman Kevin Shattenkirk got the other first-period goal, which stood up as the winner.
