Pavel Zacha helped propel Czechia past the United States in the 2024 IIHF Men's World Championship on Thursday afternoon. The Boston Bruins forward scored a power-play goal — the only one in the game — to give Czechia a 1-0 win and eliminate Team USA from the tournament. Fellow Bruins teammate David Pastrnak had a hand in the play with a cross-ice pass to David Spacek, who then got the puck over to Roman Cervenka. Cervenka passed it back to Spacek who fired off a one-timer that deflected off Zacha for the 1-0 lead and eventual win. Thursday was just Zacha and Pastrnak's second game of the tournament when they joined Czechia in Prague earlier this week after the Bruins were eliminated from the
