    Brandon Drury homered twice with five RBIs and the Los Angeles Angels stopped a six-game skid by beating the AL wild card-leading Tampa Bay Rays 8-3 on Wednesday night. Tampa Bay remained 2½ games behind first-place Baltimore in the AL East. “We were watching the game earlier,” Rays catcher Christian Bethancourt said of the Orioles' 2-1 loss at Houston. Drury hit a three-run drive off Aaron Civale (7-5) during a four-run second that put the Angels ahead 6-0.

    Grichuk has RBI single to key Angels' three-run 10th in 8-5 win over Mariners

    Randal Grichuk drove in the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the top of the 11th inning, and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Seattle Mariners 8-5 on Monday night. Brandon Drury gave the Angels a 5-3 lead with a two-run homer in the top of the 10th before Julio Rodríguez tied it again with a two-run shot in the bottom half of the inning. It gave Rodríguez 30 homers to go with 36 stolen bases, making him the second player in franchise history to join the 30/30 club behind Alex Rodriguez.
