Things have slowed down for Patrick Cantlay since that roaring, birdie-filled tear to start the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2. “It would be great,” Cantlay said. Cantlay shot an even-par 70 on Saturday in the third round, keeping him 4 under for the tournament and putting him with Rory McIlroy for what could be a juicy final-round pairing Sunday.
McIlroy is one of golf’s biggest stars and has won four major championships in his career but has not claimed a major title since 2014.
J.D. Martinez has accounted for seven of the Mets' last nine runs, but the team knows the rest of the lineup will follow suit soon.
