    Tiger, Morikawa among early starters as US Open begins

    Tiger Woods, Collin Morikawa, Brooks Koepka and Sweden's sixth-ranked Ludvig Aberg were among those set for a morning charge as the 124th US Open began Thursday at treacherous Pinehurst.Seventh-ranked Morikawa, a two-time major winner, is in the sixth group off the first tee alongside fellow Americans Koepka, a five-time major winner, and Justin Thomas.
