Who earned the top seeds for the 2024 Section 1 boys lacrosse tournament?

Cue the butterflies!

Section 1 on Wednesday dropped the seedings and brackets for the 2024 boys lacrosse tournament. All of the top seeds have a history of winning - Mamaroneck in Class A, Yorktown in Class B, John Jay in Class C and Pleasantville in Class D.

The first round is Friday and Saturday.

Yorktown will host the championship games May 28-29 on Charlie Murphy Field. Be on the lookout this week for our playoff scoreboard and live brackets.

No. 8 Wappingers (4-10) at No. 1 Mamaroneck (10-6)

No. 5 North Rockland (8-7) at No. 4 White Plains (10-6)

No. 6 Suffern (8-8) at No. 3 Scarsdale (9-7)

No. 7 Arlington (5-11) at No. 2 Carmel (13-2)

Quarterfinals: Monday, May 20

Semifinals: Thursday, May 23

Final: Tuesday, May 28, 6:30 p.m. at Yorktown High School
