BDL trade deadline chat!

Can Amar'e Stoudemire play like a mug, sometimes? Definitely.

Do I adore what Tyrus Thomas does to another team's offense, when he's given proper minutes? Like you would not believe. I'm so, so smitten.

Should I learn from what came before me? From players who barely cared, barely defended, barely showed up? Yes. Does that stop me from wanting a guy who can drop 25 and 10 in an instant on my favorite team? No way.

Why? Because I'm a fan. And you are, too. And you want to know what's going to happen on Thursday, the NBA's trade deadline.

Well, we've got a treat for you. You're actually going to learn something!

Yahoo!'s best and brightest, Johnny Ludden and Adrian Wojnarowski, will be on board. These in-touch journos will be answering as many questions as they can get to, considering that the deadline is 24 hours away.

Set the Q's up, kids. See you at 3 in the afternoon, EST.

Chances are JJ Redick gets traded before the dealine to a team that's in dire need of a shooter? Or are the Magic staying put, considering JN is out and their history of injury epidemics?

If you trade Vince Carter, Lebron will sign in 2010.

Hopefully with the coaching change and the style switch back to Phoenix's "Run-n-Gun" style, the Suns will keep Amare.
To even consider trading him seems foolish to me, he's a consistant 20 and 9 guy and any given night he can put up 30 and 13.
I am and have been a HUGE Phoenix suns fan for the past few years and it's been a rough season for me, but hopefully with Gentry in charge things can change. Maybe last nights 40 point blowout was a glimpse of things to come?

washington wiz front desk is trying to trade Jamison to avoid tax? I do not think so , not for a bust.If it is a multi team deal that clear thomas's contract and a veteran talent it might be true.

I say trade Boozer,Kirlenko for T.prince, R.Wallace, K.Brown since boozer will leave anyway I actually think the Jazz improve this year and I think prince is a Sloan guy, Wallace you don't have to deal with him but 1/2 season

Watch for a stackhouse/wright for salmons/moore trade. if cali could ditch it's liberal spending & get it's economy together, maybe sacto wouldn't have such a need for instant cap relief.

Why would Lebron Sign with either New York Or Jersey, they have GARBAGE, Jersey has Harris and other than him they have NOTHING! And New York that is laughable. Lebron is a defensive player and they play NONE. Makes no sence. He is going no place. Mark it down.

I would never get Shaq back to L.A. He is just a hater. He has hated on Kobe from the beginning. He said that Kobe cannot win a title without him and you know what he can. He sees that the Lakers are on the move and he wants to jump on the ban Kobe ban wagon all of a sudden. He sucks!!!! He needs to learn from his mistakes for leaving such a dominant team and retire without another ring. He is a hazbeen!! Lakers all the way keep Odom he is coming out of his shell.

Hear the Lakers may shop Luke Walton and a guard, and/or pick for the right player to add some toughness off the bench.

MN Needs to get Hinrich or Gordan(latter will be impossible). But give Chi Collins & McCants & a 1st rounder. We need something to help the fans even watch ANY of the remaining games this year!

No matter how hard I try, I can never get my comments posted on the chat. Anyways, in spite of them trying to hold down Lakers comments, Bynum looks like an injury prone player, and with Kobe maybe havinng three-four good years left, the Lakes maybe want to address two positions by next year, a tough foward off the bench, and eventually, a bigger point guard who can also play some defense. Fisher's best days are over.

Who thinks the Cavs might really be able to land Jamison? That would be a pretty awesome deal if it happens. (well i speak as a Cavs fan :) And to all of the Lebron/Kobe talk - hey they are both awesome lets enjoy them both and not debate who is better.
