Player Notes
Yankees recalled C John Ryan Murphy from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: Murphy got the call over Austin Romine and will serve as Brian McCann's backup now that Francisco Cervelli is sidelined with a hamstring injury. He's unlikely to have any fantasy value.

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman hears that the Yankees are likely to call up John Ryan Murphy to replace Francisco Cervelli (hamstring) on the active roster.

Advice: Most assumed that Austin Romine would get the call from Triple-A, but it will actually be Murphy. The 22-year-old backstop hit .154 (4-for-26) in his first taste of the majors last year and figures to see minimal playing time behind Brian McCann.
