Player Notes
Corey Dickerson's fifth-inning solo home run proved the difference in Thursday's victory against the Padres.

Advice: Dickerson broke a 1-1 tie with a fifth-inning blast to right-center off of Tyson Ross. It turned out to be the deciding factor as both teams failed to score the rest of the way. Dickerson homered twice on Wednesday despite dealing with plantar fasciitis. The 25-year-old is hitting .321/.367/.679 with five home runs and 13 RBI.

Corey Dickerson homered twice and walked from the second spot in the order Wednesday against the Padres.

Advice: Homers are especially good for a player with a sore foot. We're still nervous about Dickerson's plantar fasciitis, but that the Rockies are letting him play through indicates that it's not bad.

Corey Dickerson (foot) is back in the Rockies' starting lineup on Wednesday against the Padres.

Advice: Nolan Arenado (wrist) has also returned to the lineup. Dickerson sat out Tuesday after leaving Monday's series opener with a mild flareup of the plantar fasciitis in his left foot. He is batting second and starting in left field Wednesday night versus San Diego right-hander James Shields.

Corey Dickerson (foot) is out of the Rockies' starting lineup Tuesday against the Padres.

Advice: Dickerson told reporters that he feels like he could play, but the Rockies are going to play it safe with the 25-year-old outfielder and his plantar fasciitis, which has been bothering him since spring training. Dickerson should return Wednesday along with third baseman Nolan Arenado.

Corey Dickerson had to leave Monday's game versus the Padres due to what Rockies manager Walt Weiss referred to as "mild" plantar fasciitis in his left foot.

Advice: That Weiss is calling the ailment mild suggests that they'll try to avoid putting Dickerson on the disabled list for the time being. It's definitely and injury that can be nagging, though, so fantasy owners should have a contingency plan in place. Dickerson is batting .286/.314/.510 with two homers and 10 RBI this season. Drew Stubbs would stand to gain the extra playing time while Dickerson is out.

Corey Dickerson went 3-for-4 with an RBI single, a triple, and three runs scored as the Rockies earned a 4-1 win over the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: Dickerson brought in the Rockies' first run with a single in the second inning and later scored on a wild pitch. He singled and scored in the fourth, then led off the ninth inning with a triple and later came around to score an insurance run. Dickerson has been hitting quite well, having hit safely in seven of eight games with a .406 average, six extra-base hits, nine RBI, and eight runs scored in 34 plate appearances.
