Evan Gattis (strep throat) remains out of the Braves starting lineup on Saturday.

Advice: Gattis reported feeling better on Saturday morning, but the Braves are rolling with Christian Bethancourt behind the dish and Tommy La Stella at designated hitter instead. Look for the White Bear to return to the middle of the Braves lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Rangers.

Evan Gattis (strep throat) is hoping to return to the Braves' lineup on Friday.

Advice: Gattis missed a second straight game Tuesday due to strep throat. His symptoms are improving, but the Braves have told him to stay at the team hotel through Wednesday before making the trip to Texas this weekend. "He's feeling better, but he's still at the hotel," manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "Hopefully we'll get to see him tomorrow sometime, because we've got to fly out tomorrow. I don't know when, if it'll be game time or what, but I'm sure we'll see him."
