Player Notes
Jose Abreu finished 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Wednesday's rout of the Indians.

Advice: Abreu socked a first-inning solo home run off Indians ace Corey Kluber that set the tone for a fun afternoon on the south side of Chicago. The Cuban slugger then added a two-run ground-rule double in the bottom of the third inning. He's batting .291/.328/.673 with five home runs and 12 RBI in 14 games this season.

Jose Abreu went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a loss to the Indians on Tuesday.

Advice: Abreu took Indians starter Carlos Carrasco out to left in the first inning, the only run the club would put up against Carrasco. In the eighth, Abreu added an RBI single. The first baseman now has four homers and nine RBI, and he's hitting .275/.315/.608 through 13 games.

Jose Abreu was credited with an RBI triple in Sunday's loss to the Tigers.

Advice: It could have just as easily been ruled a single and a two-base error, as J.D. Martinez misplayed a ball in right field to allow Melky Cabrera to score and Abreu to end up at third. It's the big first baseman's first triple of the year and third of his career. He's driven in five runs over the last two days to push his RBI total to seven.

Jose Abreu blasted a grand slam home run on Saturday, helping to power the White Sox to a 12-3 victory over the Tigers in Detroit.

Advice: Abreu's slam came as part of a seven-run fourth inning that chased Tigers starter Anibal Sanchez. He would also add a single and a double in the rout, finishing the afternoon 3-for-6 with a pair of runs scored. He's now hitting .250/.302/.550 with three homers and six RBI on the young season.
