Player Notes
Mike Zunino went 2-for-4 and hit his third homer Monday against the Rangers.

Advice: With Justin Smoak and Corey Hart stumbling, maybe the Mariners will give Zunino a look in the cleanup spot sometime soon. They need a right-hander there, since they have left-handers batting second and third and often fifth and sixth as well. Zunino doesn't project to be any better than Smoak or Hart, but he's outplaying them so far with his .282 average and eight RBI from the bottom of the order.

Mike Zunino went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run homer against the A's on Friday.

Advice: Zunino's homer to left knocked Tommy Milone from the game in the sixth. He can certainly give the ball a ride when he makes contact, but he currently has a 10/0 K/BB ratio in 32 at-bats. He is batting .281, but that is a far higher average than we'd expect from him over the course of the year.
