Player Notes
Anthony Rendon went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer that gave the Nationals their only runs Monday against the Orioles.

Advice: Good timing for Rendon, what with him being included in the NL Final Vote for a spot on the All-Star team. He really shouldn't have had to rely on that to get him on to the squad in the first place.

Anthony Rendon went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run double as the Nationals defeated the Rockies 7-1 on Tuesday.

Advice: Rendon added to the Nationals' lead, as his two-run double in the fourth inning gave his club a 5-0 lead. With Ryan Zimmerman back at third base, Rendon got the start at second base. The Nationals will do whatever they have to in order to keep his bat in the lineup, as the 24-year-old is slashing a productive .281/.339/.479 with 12 home runs, 48 RBI, and six stolen bases this season.
