Player Notes
Bryce Harper is absent from the Nationals' lineup on Sunday.

Advice: It's the reigning National League MVP's first day off of the season. Matt den Dekker is in right field in Harper's place. Danny Espinosa is also getting a breather, as Stephen Drew is at shortstop.

Bryce Harper delivered homer No. 8 to give the Nationals their only run in Thursday's loss to the Marlins.

Advice: There was no help for Harper today; Wilson Ramos had the team's only other hit. Harper's homer tied him with Trevor Story for a share of the major league lead.

Bryce Harper broke open a close game with a grand slam in the seventh inning Tuesday against the Marlins.

Advice: Marlins starter Adam Conley had held Harper in check until that point, retiring him three times, including two strikeouts, but lefty reliever Chris Narveson had no such luck. It took Harper 518 games to hit his first grand slam, but just four more to find his second. He's hitting .333/.429/.867 with seven homers, 20 RBI and 11 runs scored overall.
