Player Notes
Michael Brantley went 2-for-4 with a run and a stolen base in Tuesday's loss to the Royals.

Advice: The stolen base was Brantley's third on the season and he's now slashing .293/.369/.507 on the season. The 26-year-old appears to be in even better shape than he was last season, a happy realization for those who picked him up in fantasy leagues.

Michael Brantley doubled in a run and also ripped a solo homer in Sunday's win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: He also drew a walk, reaching base in three of his four trips to the plate. One of the most underappreciated players in the game, Brantley is hitting .284/.368/.478 with three homers and 16 RBI this season. David Murphy also came up big for the Tribe, drilling a bases-clearing double in the sixth to put the Indians ahead for good.

Michael Brantley had a two-run homer and a two-run single Thursday versus the Tigers.

Advice: Brantley isn't any sort of prototypical middle-of-the-order guy, but manager Terry Francona has used him exclusively in the fifth and sixth spots so far and he's been good for 14 RBI in 15 games, even though they guys ahead of him aren't really clicking yet. He should remain a nice mixed-league outfielder all season long.

Michael Brantley went 1-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored in a loss to the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Brantley hit his first homer of the season off Jose Quintana in the fourth inning. He also scored the game-tying run off White Sox closer Matt Lindstrom in the ninth inning before the Tribe eventually lost in the bottom of the inning. He's followed up a scorching spring training with a good start to 2014, batting .292/.370/.417 through 13 games.
