Zimmermann picked up a win with a solid start at Philadelphia, allowing just one run on seven hits over six innings.
Recommendation: Zimmermann moves to 3-4 on the season despite a 2.47 ERA -- it may be hard to pick up victories with Washington's mediocre offense (3.7 runs scored per game), but he's doing all he can. He only struck out two in Tuesday's game, but a 40:11 K:BB ratio bodes well for the future as well.

RHP Jordan Zimmermann helped both ways. He gave up one run in six innings and went 2-for-3 with a run, raising his average to .188. He got the win and lowered his ERA to 2.47.
