Player Notes
Casey McGehee was ejected from Thursday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: McGehee was barking at Mike Fiers, who hit Giancarlo Stanton in the face with a pitch and then went up and in on Reed Johnson with his next offering, hitting him on the hand (neither was ruled a hit by pitch). It's possible McGehee could be facing a fine given how hot he was, but a suspension seems unlikely.

Casey McGehee came up huge for the Marlins Tuesday, hitting a game-winning two-run home run in the Marlins' 6-3 win over the Brewers.

Advice: McGehee finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored, but it was the bomb off Brewers closer Francisco Rodriguez in the ninth inning that mattered most. The homer was just his fourth of the season and broke a 3-3 tie. McGehee now has 70 RBI to go with a .297/.367/.374 line as his improbable comeback season heads into the home stretch.
