Player Notes
Mets placed OF Justin Ruggiano on the 15-day disabled list with left shoulder discomfort.

Advice: Ruggiano was lifted from Friday's game against the Phillies and evidently the team felt his injury was significant enough to keep him out for at least 15 days. T.J. Rivera, who was sent down on Friday, is headed back to the big leagues. Ruggiano has hit .333 with two homers and seven RBI across 24 at-bats this season.

Justin Ruggiano was forced to leave Friday's game due to left shoulder discomfort.

Advice: It's unclear at the moment just how severe the injury is or how much time the outfielder will stand to miss. Add him to the lengthy list of walking wounded that the Mets have been forced to deal with this season.
