Player Notes
Ryan Braun launched a solo homer and also a grand slam in Wednesday's victory over the Reds.

Advice: He also had a single and hit a laser right at right fielder Jay Bruce one of the two times he was retired. Braun's solo shot went to right field off of Michael Lorenzen, and his grand slam off of Jumbo Diaz in the eighth was pulled over the left-center field wall. After receiving a couple days of rest, Braun now has three homers over the last two days. Perhaps this will be a turning point for him.

Ryan Braun went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Reds.

Advice: Braun had been held hitless since April 23 until he lifted a Johnny Cueto offering over the fence in right field in the seventh inning. It reduced the Brewers' deficit to 4-2. Braun has been hampered by an undisclosed injury lately and owns a disappointing .227/.271/.318 batting line with two home runs and five RBI on the season.

Ryan Braun is in Tuesday's lineup against the Reds.

Advice: Braun was out of the lineup for the second straight day Monday, but it was apparently a manager's decision. However, he'll bat third Tuesday against Reds ace Johnny Cueto. Braun is hitting just .226 with one home run and a .547 OPS so far this season.

Ryan Braun said that he's not absent from Monday's lineup due to injury.

Advice: Braun missed Sunday's game with an undisclosed physical issue, but he insists that him not being in there on Monday is a manager's decision. "We won yesterday, guys played well so run with it," Braun said." Wins are the most important thing. Both (Jordan) Schafer and Gerardo (Parra) played well," said Braun. Braun is batting just .230/.277/.279 with one homer in the early going this season.

Ryan Braun is out of the Brewers' lineup again Monday with an undisclosed injury.

Advice: Braun requested the day off Sunday due to a physical issue not related to his surgically-repaired right thumb and has now missed two straight starts. He's dealt with a rib cage ailment this month but it's unclear at the moment if that's what's bothering him again. The Brewers should provide more on his status later Monday. Gerardo Parra is in right field again in Braun's place.

Ryan Braun is not in the Brewers' lineup Sunday.

Advice: It's a routine day of rest for the struggling slugger. Aramis Ramirez is also getting a breather, as Gerardo Parra is in right field and Hector Gomez is at third base.

Ryan Braun went 0-for-4 in Friday's loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Braun also struck out twice. The former MVP has yet to hit anything other than a single. With 58 at-bats in the books, the small sample size is growing larger day-by-day. Braun's slashing just .241/.279/.293. The extra-base knocks should come eventually, but his days as a middle-of-the-lineup star could be fading.
