Player Notes
Ryan Braun was 2-for-3 with an RBI single and a walk against the Reds on Friday.

Advice: Braun missed consecutive starts earlier this week with his ongoing thumb/hand issue, but he has swung the bat well over the past two nights. The Brewers really need him right now, but his condition figures to be monitored on a day-to-day basis.

Ryan Braun returned to action on Thursday September 11. Fri, Sep 12 Rotoworld
Ryan Braun returned to the Brewers' lineup and promptly slugged a solo home run in Thursday's win against the Marlins.

Advice: Braun homered in the second inning off of Nathan Eovaldi to put the Brewers up 1-0. He hadn't started since Monday due to a lingering right thumb injury which has affected his entire hand. Braun now has 19 home runs on the year along with 79 RBI and a .272/.323/.475 slash line.

Ryan Braun (thumb) is back in Thursday's lineup against the Marlins.

Advice: Braun didn't start Tuesday or Wednesday due to a lingering right thumb injury which has now become a full-blown hand issue. It's tough to expect much from him going forward in fantasy leagues. The hot-hitting Gerardo Parra will start in left field Thursday and Khris Davis is on the bench.

Ryan Braun (thumb) is out of the Brewers' starting lineup on Tuesday night versus the Marlins.

Advice: Brewers manager Ron Roenicke told reporters that Braun's lingering right thumb issue has now become a full hand issue. Milwaukee's medical staff is evaluating the star outfielder on a day-to-day basis. It's more bad news for a free-falling Brewers team, and Braun probably can't be counted on for much production the rest of the way in fantasy leagues. Gerardo Parra is starting in right field Tuesday.

Ryan Braun is not in the Brewers starting lineup on Saturday.

Advice: No word yet on the reason for his absence, but the team should provide an update on his status shortly. He missed a pair of games earlier in the week to be present for the birth of his first child and has also battled an array of ailments throughout the season.
