Player Notes
Mark Reynolds blasted a walk-off two-run homer on Sunday, powering the Rockies to a 9-7 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The Rockies clubbed four home runs in total on the afternoon, with Trevor Story's game-tying blast in the seventh and Reynolds' game winner proving to be the difference. He finished the afternoon 1-for-4 and also delivered a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning. He has been a very valuable addition to the Rockies lineup this season, slashing a healthy .291/.356/.462 with eight long balls and 31 RBI.

Mark Reynolds went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Thursday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Reynolds connected for a solo homer off Zack Greinke in the second inning. It was his seventh homer of the year and pushed his RBI total to 28. The veteran first baseman is slashing .291/.359/.457 across 224 at-bats. The average is particularly impressive -- and out of character -- given that Reynolds is a career .232 hitter.

Mark Reynolds went 2-for-3 with two home runs as the Rockies outslugged the Marlins 7-4 on Monday.

Advice: Reynolds' two dingers, both solo jobs, were just a few of the eight home runs the Marlins and Rockies combined for on the evening. The homers were numbers five and six on the year for the 32-year-old, who now has 25 RBI and 32 runs scored as the Rockies' primary first baseman. Somewhat unbelievably, the career .232 hitter has also maintained a respectable .290/.362/.448 line through 63 games.
