Player Notes
Charlie Blackmon hit a solo home run in the third inning of Friday's win over the Giants.

Advice: Blackmon finished the game 2-for-5. In addition to the home run, he also hit a single. Blackmon's slashing .269/.342/.478 in April, with two home runs, eight RBI and nine runs scored. He continues to have value in mixed leagues thanks to his position in the lineup leading off and his speed, though he was thrown out trying to steal in Friday's contest. In 2014, Blackmon swiped 28 bags in 38 attempts.

Charlie Blackmon took Clayton Kershaw deep on Friday for his first homer of the season.

Advice: That's the kind of thing that will help keep him in the lineup against left-handers. Blackmon spent most of last April hitting over .400, but he's been quieter this month, batting .263 with six runs scored, four RBI and one steal in 38 at-bats. He'll have value in mixed leagues for as long as the Rockies continue leading him off.
