CF Matt Kemp won his first Silver Slugger award shortly after winning his first Gold Glove last week. Kemp had career highs with 26 home runs, 101 RBIs, 97 runs and 52 walks. He was third in the NL with 34 steals and just missed out on hitting .300 with a .297 batting average. |

Kemp had another solid season, batting .297/.352/.490 with 26 home runs, 101 RBI, and 34 stolen bases. Recommendation: That's good enough for top-5 fantasy outfielder status headed into 2010, and at 25, it's likely Kemp's best years are ahead of him. To top things off, Kemp also won his first Gold Glove this year. Apparently he can play center field after all. |
