Nolasco pitched eight strong innings on Monday to pick up his third straight win and fifth of the season. He allowed two runs and four hits with eight strikeouts. Recommendation: Nolasco gave up a leadoff homer to Ryan Zimmerman in the second inning and a two-out RBI single in the same frame, but was otherwise fantastic. In fact, Nolsaco retired the final 13 batters he faced. Nolsaco did not walk a batter on Monday and has an amazing 29:2 K:BB ratio over his last four starts. |
