Player Notes
Angel Pagan will miss a minimum of 4-5 days with a Grade 1 strain of his left hamstring.

Advice: Pagan strained his hamstring while running the bases on Sunday. As of now, he's expected to avoid the disabled list. The Giants will go with a combination of Mac Williamson and Gregor Blanco in left field while he's sidelined.

Angel Pagan (hamstring) is out Monday versus the Reds.

Advice: Mac Williamson, called up Monday morning, will start in left field and bat sixth against Cincinnati left-hander Brandon Finnegan. Pagan suffered a mild hamstring on Sunday and will likely be out for much of this week, though he is expected to avoid the disabled list.

Angel Pagan is listed as day-to-day after leaving Sunday's game against the Mets with a mild hamstring strain.

Advice: He's expected to miss at least the next 2-to-3 days. Pagan suffered the injury while trying to stretch a single into a double during the seventh inning of Sunday's contest. Look for Gregor Blanco to see additional playing time in his absence.

Angel Pagan left Sunday's game against the Mets with an apparent injury.

Advice: Pagan was thrown out while trying to stretch his single into a double in the top of the seventh inning and was replaced by Gregor Blanco in left field to start the bottom of the frame. The Giants should have an update on his status shortly.

Angel Pagan launched a solo homer in Friday’s loss to the Mets.

Advice: His seventh-inning blast off Jerry Blevins was the only offense of the game for the Giants. Pagan finished with a career-low .635 OPS last season while playing through a nagging knee injury, but he’s batting .321/.370/.476 through his first 24 games this season as the Giants’ primary No. 9 hitter.

Angel Pagan went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI against the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Pagan is hitting .356 with 11 RBI, 14 runs scored and seven walks, with much of that production coming from the ninth spot in the order. He's been a great surprise so far after his awful 2015 and injury-plagued 2013 and 2014 campaigns.
