LHP Cliff Lee remains winless on the season following the Phillies 5-1 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Sunday. Lee, who has been victimized by low run support this season, got himself in trouble Sunday when he put the Phillies in a five-run deficit after three innings. Four of the five runs came on a pair of home runs.
"It was definitely my fault," Lee said. "Gave up five runs in the first three innings. That's on me right there. I've got to do a better job of that. I've got to get deeper in the game without giving up so many runs. This one falls on me."

Lee saw the bullpen blew his first win Tuesday in a 4-3, 10-inning victory over the Astros.
Advice: Lee allowed one run and struck out 10 over eight strong innings.

Lee struck out 10 and walked one while giving up one run on five hits over eight inning in a no-decision Tuesday.
Recommendation: Unfortunately for Lee, Jonathan Papelbon was unavailable Tuesday and Chad Qualls was tagged for two runs on four hits in the ninth which ultimately cost him in the win. Lee has a 1.95 ERA and 0.76 WHIP over 37 innings this season (five starts), but is still winless as the Phillies' offense has struggled to score runs in many of his outings thus far.
