Hudson (elbow) threw 90 pitches in a bullpen session before Thursday's game against Philadelphia, the Associated Press reports.
Recommendation: Hudson, who had elbow ligament-replacement surgery on July 27, 2008, said that he cleared his "last hurdle" after the session. He is scheduled to pitch in a rehab assignment on July 19 at High-A Myrtle Beach.

RHP Tim Hudson threw a 90-pitch bullpen session Thursday in preparation for the next step in his rehab from last July's Tommy John surgery. He will throw batting practice before the Braves-Cubs games Monday and Tuesday at Wrigley Field.
