Rolen (shoulder) hasn't been able to swing a bat and has no timetable to resume baseball activities, the Reds' official site reports.
Recommendation: Todd Frazier will continue to see a heavy workload at third base, and there's certainly reason for concern given Rolen's age and injury history as he appears to be far away from returning to the Reds' lineup.

3B Scott Rolen's left shoulder is improving, but he's not close to hitting again. Rolen went on the disabled list May 12. "I still have some knots and spasms," Rolen said. "The idea was to first and foremost rest and work on it and unravel it. The fatigue and tightness build up when you're compensating. ... I think Dr. (Tim) Kremchek called it active rest, which is a good oxymoron. It's more therapy stuff. Active rest means don't swing. I'm still in that stage now."
