Poor Lou Piniella. Not only did he have to watch his crappy old team make the World Series instead of his new, supposedly better team, but he also had to serve as the subject of a mocking in the winning Phillies clubhouse on Wednesday night.
If you're wondering why
Brett Favre Geoff Jenkins is instructing Sweet Lou to do such a not-nice thing, remember that it was Piniella who put Scott Eyre in the Cubs' doghouse over the summer, leading to the lefty being traded to the Phillies midseason.
But perhaps realizing that it was his poor pitching and not Lou that ended up him getting swapped to a better position, you can hear Eyre telling Jenkins not to say such things.
Or at least not so loud.
