Even though it was just a preseason touchdown, it will go down as one of the more unusual scores of Reggie Wayne's long NFL career.
The Giants got pressure on Andrew Luck, who couldn't get enough on a deep pass to Wayne in the end zone. Giants cornerback Aaron Ross had the ball in his hands but it popped out as he was going down. Wayne showed pretty remarkable reflexes to stick his right hand out, knock the ball in the air, then wheeled and dove for the catch and the touchdown.
That was Wayne's second highlight catch of the night.
He also decided to increase the degree of difficulty on a bubble screen:
Wow. Save some of that for the regular season, Reggie.
