We didn't embed this great picture of George Brett riding a horse through the streets of Kansas City in Ryan Wood's 10 best things about being a Royals fan. Mostly because it might have somehow ended up claiming spots one through 10.
But on one of the slowest baseball news days in recent memories, it certainly seemed deserving of its own "eh, what the hay?" post. It is indeed awesome, but here's guessing he wouldn't have been able to do the same thing had the Royals beat the Phillies in the World Series five years earlier.
