Bundesliga club Wolfsburg have confirmed the summer signing of teenager Bence Dardai from second division Hertha Berlin, where his father, Pal Dardai, is the head coach.

Dardai, 18, made his first team debut this season and has also been on the field for Hertha together with his two brothers, Palko and Marton.

Hertha said recently that the under-17 international would leave after the season, with Wolfsburg announcing the signing on Saturday, saying only that he signed "a long-term contract."

"We are delighted that Bence has decided to join us. He is a young and very talented player and has already proven his qualities in the second division," sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz said.

"At Wolfsburg, Bence has the opportunity to continue his development at a high level. We want to give him the best possible support and are looking forward to our future together."
