Teen Admits Behavior Toward Boyfriend Is ‘Out Of Control’

Corryn says she and her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Jack, are in love. However, the teen admits she’s gone to extreme measures to keep him in her life. She says she quit high school to do his school work so he could graduate early, she has called him up to 100 times a day and admits to hiding on his property to keep an eye on him.

“I believe my behavior is out of control. I even think, you know, I have crazy moments,” Corryn tells Dr. Phil on Wednesday’s episode. “When I first met him, it was completely different. There was no cheating, there was no lying, there was no anything.”

Corryn says then her relationship with Jack changed.

“It’s turned into, basically, a nightmare,” she reveals. “It turned into, like, me, basically, dropping everything for him. And if I didn’t, I didn’t want to be yelled at or mad at. I’ve been beat for not doing things for him.”

Dr. Phil points out that those seem to be reasons that someone would want to end a relationship rather than stay in it.

“I’ve said a million times, if you have to stop being all of who you are to be half of a couple, price is too high,” he tells Corryn.
