    Xavi Hernandez signed off as Barcelona coach with a 2-1 win at Sevilla on Sunday to close out the La Liga season, before warning his replacement the job "won't be easy".Robert Lewandowski put Barcelona ahead from close range but Youssef En-Nesyri levelled for Sevilla, whose coach Quique Sanchez Flores is also leaving at the end of the season.

    Miami win in Vancouver without resting Barca trio

    Inter Miami rested Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez but still managed to extend their unbeaten run in Major League Soccer to 10 games with a hard fought 2-1 win at the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday.The game ended 10 against 10 after LAFC's Eduard Atuesta was dismissed after a second yellow card as the visitors hung on for a 1-0 win.

    'I'm not working tomorrow': Party starts for Leverkusen boss Alonso

    Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso said he was ready for a big night after his club sealed the double on Saturday, telling reporters: "I'm not working tomorrow."The coach, who rejected reported interest from Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to stay at Leverkusen this season, was serenaded with chants of "Xabi Alonso" by delirious fans whose club had only won two trophies before this season.

    Madrid fans see off Kroos in Betis draw

    Real Madrid supporters bade farewell to midfielder Toni Kroos in his final La Liga game for the club at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, a 0-0 draw against Real Betis.Earlier, Atletico Madrid, fourth, finished their campaign with a 2-0 win at Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao beat Rayo Vallecano 1-0.
