You Can Get Paid $1,000 to Binge-Watch Disney Classics and Compare Them to Their Remakes

The live-action version of Mulan hits theaters later this month, adding to the long list of remakes that Disney has released in recent years. So many of the remakes have done so well at the box office that 18 more live-action adaptations are in the works. But while some fans love seeing their favorite movies from childhood come to life in the live-action movies, others think the original animated movies should be left alone. Well, if you have strong thoughts about the remakes either way and you're obsessed with Disney movies, you can actually get paid to share your thoughts: Upgraded Points is looking someone to watch 12 Disney classics and compare them to their live-action remakes.

Over the course of a month, you’ll need to watch these Disney animated originals and their remakes:

  • 101 Dalmatians

  • Alice in Wonderland

  • Sleeping Beauty (Remake: Maleficent)

  • Cinderella

  • The Jungle Book

  • Beauty and the Beast

  • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (Remake: Christopher Robin)

  • Dumbo

  • Aladdin

  • The Lion King

  • Lady and the Tramp

  • Mulan

As you watch the movies, you’ll need to complete a worksheet, comparing and contrasting the movies and their respective remakes. You'll identify trends in dialogue, characters, setting, and anything else you notice. You'll also have to share your binge-watching experience on Facebook and Twitter.

So what do you get if you land the role? Along with $1,000, you’ll receive a $100 gift card to purchase a ticket (plus snacks!) to see Mulan in theaters. It’ll also cover a Disney+ one-month subscription, so you can still apply if you don’t currently have access to the movies.
