Former Detroit Tigers utility man Niko Goodrum has been claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Pirates, his fourth organization in the last three months. The Pirates optioned Goodrum to Triple-A Indianapolis after claiming him from the Los Angeles Angels. Goodrum, 32, played regularly for the Tigers in a variety of roles from 2018-2021 hitting .232 with a .707 OPS (90 OPS+) in 376 games.
