The Yankees' roster has multiple needs to return to contention in 2024, perhaps too many to be addressed on the free agent market alone. Donovan broke onto the scene with an impressive rookie campaign in 2022, slashing .281/.394/.379 with a 128 wRC+ in 126 games.
