Draymond Green Trolls LeBron James With Cheeky T-Shirt After NBA Finals Showdown
NBA stars are competitive both on-and-off the court, as evidenced by the Instagram exchange between LeBron James and Draymond Green in the aftermath of the Golden State Warriors beating the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday.
Three days later, Warriors power forward Green showed up to the championship parade in Oakland, California, on Thursday sporting a snarky T-shirt, ESPN reported.
The offending article of clothing featured the logo for Quicken Loans — Cavs’ owner Dan Gilbert’s company and the title sponsor for the team’s home arena — but with the text changed to “Quickie,” alongside an image of the Larry O’Brien Trophy, which the Warriors just won for the second time in three years.

Green told NBC Sports’ Bay Area affiliate that the pun is both a jab at the Cavaliers’ home court nickname — “The Q” — and a reminder of which team won the 2017 NBA championship. “We got them out of here quick with the trophy,” he added, referring to the 4-1 beat down in the seven-game series.

Not one to back down from a taunt, Cavs star LeBron James had a few jokes of his own to fire back at Green, reposting the same photo to his Instagram with the caption: “That’s what she said, HUH?!?!?

James later posted a smooth-headed selfie, to which Green had a clever response:
